NOTICE OF INDEXING OF STUDENTS ADMITTED INTO MEDICAL SCHOOLS
The Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) hereby draws the attention of Authorities of all Medical and Dental Training Institutions in Nigeria, Provosts and Deans of Medical Colleges and all Stakeholders in the health sector to the following announcements:
The Council at its inaugural meeting held from Wednesday 3rd – Thursday 4th February 2010 directed that from the 2007/2008 academic session, the number of students admitted to medical and dental schools must strictly comply with the approved quota.
In view of the above directive, Medical and Dental Training Institutions are given up to 31st May 2010 to submit the list (hard & electronic copy) of all students admitted to medical and dental programmes for the 2007/2008, 2008/2009 and 2009/2010.
The indexing is expected to be in line with the following approved quota:
